Portfolio

Here's a portfolio of the different works that I have created for my own classroom. I'm a bit of an amateur when it comes to technology. Hopefully you can find at least a couple resources to help you out in your own classroom!

PTP Projects
I couldn't figure out for the life of me how to create a sub-page... so I'm really sorry.

Prezi:
For my Prezi Project, I created a prezi presentation to go along with the multi-media project we had to do a couple months ago. I really enjoyed it- although it was pretty confusing. Prezi makes me motion sick, so I wouldn't even want my students to use them because I would hate grading them. I do think its a lot more of an engaging way to teach a subject besides plain old power point. But I wasn't in love with the tutorials or the layout.



Slideshare:

This is my slideshare project. Basically, I uploaded a document of an assignment one of my students from my work completed for her homework. I then uploaded a slideshow that another student of mine had created for his class. I added a Youtube video to enhance his slideshow. He did a pretty good job, I'm proud of him. I also followed 5 people and liked 5 slides. I found some cool things, and I feel like slideshare is a heck of a lot easier to use than Prezi. I would completely recommend it over Prezi!

Voicethread:
This was my favorite project by far. It was so easy to use, so fun to create slides, do goofy things, and I love how easy it is to do a voice over. I would most likely use this one in my classroom. Any student could use this, without much extra needed instruction. It was an absolute blast! Plus I love ABE LINCOLN!
